Restaurant Layn - Port d'Andratx - Mallorca

Layn, the word which the Arabs used to name the property which would later be called "Sa Font" in the town of Andratx, is now the name of one of the most established restaurants in the Port. It is to be found in a beautifully restored villa overlooking the Mediterranean and has been run since its opening in 1984 by the Bestard Porcel family.

A choice between an attractive dining room inside, a comfortable balcony with splendid views and a spacious terrace beside the sea, offers different atmospheres for trying the varied specialities a la carte. Banquets can also be catered for with attention to every detail.

Fish from local boats, that unload daily at the new fish exchange, is always on the menu, together with fresh fruit and vegetables from nearby smallholdings. Chocolate fills the deserts with sweet joy.

Majorcan tradition has the necessary culture to supply these products and to convert them into delights for every palate, bearing in mind both quality and price which can have no equal.
